AVON ZODIAC 18'
This Zodiac Avon Searider Rescue RIB SR 5.4M has a nearly new Evinrude
E-Tec 2006 90 HP Salt Water Edition outboard motor with new control.
The motor only has 65 hours and has full factory warranty. The E-Tech
engines are renowed for simplicity, fuel efficiency and low emissions.
The new controls, engine and installation was over $14k (receipts
from Lordship Marine).
This RIB was a yacht tender on a 80' vessel in Vancouver.
Comes with a new 2008 Continental galvanized trailer and tongue jack
for carefree trailerting. Although this is a larger boat at 18', it's
very lightweight at about 1500 lbs total (including trailer!). The
boat and motor are about 1000 lbs which mean low cost to tow and low
cost to operate in the water. You can tow it with any type of car!
Boat has jockey seat, external gas tank, instrument arch, new
Raymarine colour depth sounder/fish finder and new Icon VHF radio.
The SeaRiders Rescue boats are built tough and have a hydro-hull that
empties when moving but fills up when stopped providing incredible
stability for diving or rescue even in the roughest seas. The boat is
an older model but the Hypalon tubes are in good shape can last 30
years. Comes with a full custom cover with side entrance.
The boat has dual ( one new) batteries and a high capacity bilge pump.
